The Anti-Inflammatory Diet
Chronic inflammation is behind many diseases. Discover how your diet can fight it.

What is chronic inflammation?
Acute inflammation is a normal body response. But chronic, silent inflammation is linked to many diseases: diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, depression. Diet plays a major role in its regulation.
Anti-inflammatory foods
Some foods have scientifically proven anti-inflammatory properties:
- Turmeric: curcumin is a powerful anti-inflammatory
- Berries: rich in anthocyanins
- Fatty fish: omega-3 EPA and DHA
- Leafy greens: spinach, kale, broccoli
- Extra virgin olive oil: anti-inflammatory oleocanthal
- Ginger: anti-inflammatory gingerol and shogaol
Foods to avoid
Conversely, some foods promote inflammation: refined sugars, processed vegetable oils, ultra-processed foods, excess alcohol and grilled red meats.
Our approach at Granola Geneva
Our menu is naturally rich in anti-inflammatory ingredients: turmeric in our golden lattes, ginger in our pressed juices, berries in our bowls.
